Pokemon GO Upgrade Items and Components
An upgrade item is an item that can make certain Pokemon change. The upgrade is made by spinning a PokeStop photo disc. It's sometimes given as a prize during Pokemon GO events.
Upgrades can be applied to weapons, armors trinkets, weapons, and gathering tools in order to raise their item level. The upgrade costs Flightstones or crests, based on the type of item.
Upgrade components
Upgrade components can be inserted into trinkets, weapons, armors and gathering tools in order to provide attributes bonuses or other effects while the equipment being used. The equipment that is upgraded must have an upgrade slot to accept the component, and most upgrade components require the item being upgraded to be above an amount. Some upgrade components also have special effects when applied to an item of equipment. Upgrade components can be obtained by crafting, bought by karma merchants or traded with other players via the Trading Post. They can also be rescued from equipment and redeemed as rewards.
A variety of upgrade components are available, each providing various bonuses. Universal upgrades, such as gems and inscriptions are able to be applied to any type of equipment. They offer fewer bonuses than other kinds of upgrade component. Infusions can be used on non-amulet and legendary ascended items, and enrichments can be utilized on certain ascended back equipment. Most upgrade components can be replaced when they are slotted into an item, but doing so destroys the previous upgrade. The only exceptions are glyphs, that can only be placed in gathering tools, as well as enchantments. Both can be removed and reinserted.
Insignias, enchantments, and upgrades with prefixes or suffixes will be displayed in the hover display of the item while they are added to the equipment's name (e.g. an Radiant Insignia would change the name to Radiant Tyrian Armor). The number of upgrades that are added to an equipment piece will be displayed in the item's tooltip.
Glyphs
Glyphs are special characters that can be added into an OpenType font to add functional or decorative elements, like ligatures, ornaments, fractions and swashes, registered trademark symbols and ellipses. The Glyphs panel lets you look up and insert these unique characters as well as standard glyphs such as em dashes and en dashes registered trademark symbols, as well as glyphs that do not appear in other fonts (such as dingbats).
Each Glyph provides an initial boost in stats for the character. It also has up to four secondary stats that affect the glyph's radius on your Paragon Board. Secondary Stats are a %-increase that is multiplied after other bonuses are applied except for Speed Glyphs which directly increase the speed of the hero.

The Glyphs in your inventory can be activated by selecting them and clicking the "enchant" button. This will open a new window showing the Glyphs you own that can be applied to the selected item. Make sure you select the right type of Glyph can be applied to the selected item, as every weapon, jewelry or armor piece can have an array of different Glyphs.
You can level up Glyphs by finishing Tree of Whisper Quests or Nightmare Dungeons. The more difficult the dungeon is, the more Glyph experience you will gain. Once a Glyph has reached level 15 it can be upgraded on the Glyph Upgrade Altar. The radius of the Paragon Board grows by one node for every 15 levels at which a Glyph is upgraded.
Once a glyph has been elevated to the desired level, you can activate it by selecting it, then clicking the "enchant" button. The Glyph you create will provide its stated benefit, and boost all other nodes in its area on the Paragon Board. Glyphs should go in areas that will benefit your building the most. This is why you should prioritize Magic Glyphs as soon as possible. Rare glyphs could also provide double bonus if certain conditions can be satisfied.
Click the cycle widget to change the view of the Glyphs Panel. Each of these views displays the Glyphs in different fonts. You can reduce the number of glyphs you want to see by selecting an option beneath "Entire Font". For example, punctuation is only displayed in punctuation glyphs. Math Symbols limits the selection to mathematical symbols.
Rerolling
Rerolling is the process of creating a new account in order to increase your chances of getting the weapon or character you'd like. This is done to to level up faster, or to get more valuable loot like the purchase of a new weapon for your character. Many players will play until the character they desire is available, regardless of its power. This could be because they like the character's design or personality.
When you reroll, it is important be sure that the changes you are making are clean. You should verify locally whether the patch is approved by pre-commit and run a Core dev check. You should also upload the patch to an issue using a plain diff (see What about an interdiff? ).
Rerolls can take a few days or weeks depending on how lucky you are. To cut down on time avoid enemy camps that are optional during this time. You should also avoid re-doing quests that you can complete later on in the game. This can save time and energy.
Another important consideration when rerolling is to make sure you are aware of the upgrade system. There are many ways to enhance your character's power and appearance. This could include upgrading your weapons as well as rerolling your characters and buying upgrades. In addition, it is crucial to be aware of the limitations of the upgrade system.
Rerolling is not a necessary element of the game but it can be useful to increase your chances of obtaining the right weapon or character. You can use it to determine the best character or to test different builds and playstyles.
Sets
A set is an object collection that has two common attributes (like the number or eggs in a dozen or the members of a group). Sets allow for operations like intersection, union and distinction.
Upgrades can make a set better than before. For weapons and armor, this means it gains an increase in the base defense, a lower strength requirement and an lower amount of requirement.
Upgrading can be a great way to bring popular single-set items to the same level as their higher-tier set counterparts. For example, upgrading Guillaume's Face helm to an Elite Spired Helm boosts the defense from 217 to 321 while reducing the strength requirement and level requirement to a lower range.
It's important to remember that not all items in a set can be upgraded. Certain sets, such as the FB Sorc Whistan's shield or Naj's puzzler staff, are already Exceptional in their own rights and don't need upgrading. Certain items, such as Goldwrap and Whistan's Shield (both BiS) that are often used, could be benefited by an upgrade to increase their stats. For these kinds of items, it may be worth the extra expense to upp them.
